Monarchie.be: Zijne Majesteit Koning Albert II ontvangt een levenslange, jaarlijkse dotatie ten bedrage van 923.000 euro.
Nieuwsblad 16 juli 2013: Na troonsafstand krijgt koning Albert dotatie van 923.000 euro, dat betaat uit 180.000 euro loon waarover hij persoonsbelasting moet betalen. Daarnaast krijgt hij 743.000 euro werkingskosten waar hij BTW en accijnzen op moet betalen. Voorts krijgt hij 5 jaar lang 10 gedetacheerde personeelsleden.
Standaard 4/6/13: Koning Albert II krijgt momenteel 11.554.000 euro dotatie per jaar. Als de 132.000 euro 'vergoeding' daar binnenkort deel van uit zal maken, met daarop - in het 'slechtste' geval - veertig procent belasting, houdt onze vorst nog 11.501.200 euro per jaar over. Dat is een halve procent minder dan vandaag.
